At the China Hydrogen Energy Industry Application Ecology Summit, Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Hydrogen Pu Chuangneng Technology Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony for 10000 hydrogen heavy-duty trucks. This is the group's second push into the field of hydrogen logistics, following the initial deployment of 300 hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks.
Hydrogen energy is widely recognized as a clean energy source, with high energy density and a calorific value approximately three times that of petroleum, resulting in zero pollution emissions. Our province has two major advantages in developing hydrogen energy. One is the enrichment of hydrogen sources. The by-product of coke production, coke oven gas, contains about 60% hydrogen. Secondly, the application scenarios are diverse, covering areas such as transportation, industrial production, energy transfer, and grid energy storage and allocation.
In recent years, the provincial party committee and government have attached great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and have issued medium - and long-term plans for the development of the hydrogen energy industry.
