As a clean energy source, hydrogen has considerable commercial value, especially in promoting the transformation and upgrading of energy structures in various countries and achieving the global goal of carbon neutrality. Hydrogen can play a very important role in driving major economies to accelerate their development and utilization of hydrogen energy.

On the periodic table, hydrogen (H) ranks first among the 63 chemical elements. This not only means that hydrogen theoretically has only one proton, but also represents that hydrogen is the most widely distributed substance in the universe. 75% of the entire universe's mass is composed of hydrogen, and it is hidden in the atmosphere from the sky to underground water flows, even rock layers in the earth's crust, as well as fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas, and coal. It is precisely because it is distributed in different carriers that hydrogen, as a secondary energy source, exhibits distinct mountain sects. The hydrogen produced from fossil fuels such as coal and oil, as well as industrial by-products, is called grey hydrogen. If the carbon dioxide in the hydrogen extraction process is isolated through carbon capture technology, grey hydrogen becomes blue hydrogen. At the same time, hydrogen produced from renewable energy sources such as electrolyzed water, solar energy, wind energy, or biomass is called green hydrogen.
